We are supporting their recruitment by recruiting a permanent Manufacturing Technician, to join their team. A successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with small engineering projects. The role will be working a permanent day shift- Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 16:00 and 07:00 to 12:00 Fridays
The job you’ll do:
*Manage and action all activities required of the on-site service.
*Apply and change lubricants and fluids to agreed planned maintenance schedules
*Condition monitoring and control of fluids and plant equipment, and reporting using our company in-house system.
*Manage waste streams to safe disposal off-site
*Customer liaison and assisting in meetings
*Follow strictly practices and procedures laid down including 5s and Health & Safety.
About you:
*You will have a proven background within the manufacturing or engineering sector.
*A strong communicator, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service
*You may be from a machine operating background, where you have set up, stripped, cleaned and reassembled equipment.
*You will be a team player and take a collaborative approach to project work.
*You will be IT literate and confident in the use of various systems.
*Health and Safety conscious, with a strong focus on maintaining the highest standards within the workplace.
