I am working with a well-established accountancy practice in the Bristol - Paulton area to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior to join their growing team. This role offers exposure to a varied client portfolio and clear progression within practice.


The Role
* Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
* Assisting with management accounts preparation
* Preparation of corporation tax computations and personal tax returns
* Supporting senior team members with year-end work and client queries
* Liaising directly with clients under supervision
* Working with cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks and Sage


Candidate Profile
* Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice (essential)
* Studying towards AAT / ACA / ACCA (or equivalent), or qualified by experience
* Experience preparing accounts to trial balance level
* Some exposure to corporation tax and personal tax
* Good working knowledge of accounting systems
* Strong attention to detail and good time management skills
