Production Manager | Poole | £52,000
Are you an experienced Production Manager with a passion for driving performance in a fast-paced operational environment? This role suits a hands-on, commercially minded Production Manager who thrives on continuous improvement and enjoys taking ownership of people, processes, and performance within a busy production or manufacturing setting.
Monday to Friday rotating shifts, 42.5 hours per week, alternating weekly between early and late starts.
As a Production Manager, you will benefit from:

As a Production Manager, your responsibilities will include:
*Acting as the senior operational decision-maker while on shift
*Taking full ownership for performance across output, cost control, and margin delivery from day one
*Delivering planned vehicle throughput and parts recovery targets
*Managing workflow constraints, backlog and takt time adherence in real time
*Controlling labour efficiency, utilisation levels and overtime spend
*Protecting contribution margin through disciplined operational execution
*Ensuring safety standards are upheld and responding promptly to on-shift risk
*Driving structured continuous improvement and embedding lean principles across teams
As a Production Manager, your experience will include:
*Proven experience managing production or operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
*Strong people leadership skills with the ability to engage and develop teams
*Experience working to KPIs, performance metrics, and operational targets
*A proactive, hands-on management style with strong problem-solving ability
*Confidence operating in a high-volume, deadline-driven setting
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
