I am working with a well-established accountancy practice in Basingstoke to recruit an Audit Senior as part of continued growth within their Audit team.
This role offers hands-on responsibility across a varied audit portfolio, client exposure, and a clear pathway for progression within practice.


The Role
* Planning, leading and delivering audit assignments from start to completion
* Supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members
* Preparing statutory accounts and audit files in line with UK standards
* Acting as the main point of contact for clients during audits
* Liaising with managers and partners to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
* Supporting the development and training of junior staff


Candidate Profile
* ACA / ACCA qualified or actively studying
* Previous UK audit experience within an accountancy practice (essential)
* Experience leading audits on-site or remotely
* Strong knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards
* Good communication and client-facing skills
* Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
