Job Title: Development Executive
Location: Bristol
Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 (DOE) + uncapped bonus
Benefits: Upcapped Bonus structure

With a strong reputation in the market and a collaborative approach between broking, marketing, and sales teams, the business offers a supportive and performance-driven environment where individuals can directly contribute to ongoing growth.
Role Summary:
This is a sales-focused, outbound role centred around generating high-quality new business opportunities. Working closely with Client Executives, you’ll be responsible for building a strong pipeline of qualified leads and booking appointments that directly contribute to revenue growth. The position offers clear performance-based incentives and the opportunity to develop within a business that actively supports progression.
Key Responsibilities:
• Outbound prospecting: Generate new business opportunities and directly influence company growth
• Lead qualification: Conduct fact-finding conversations to create high-quality, warm leads
• Appointment setting: Book meetings for Client Executives, supporting new business campaigns
• Relationship building: Develop early-stage client relationships to improve conversion rates
• Pipeline management: Maintain accurate CRM records and manage follow-ups effectively
• Market development: Identify additional prospecting channels including events and introducer relationships
Requirements:
• Experience in a sales, outbound, or lead generation role
• Strong communication skills with the ability to handle objections confidently
• Comfortable working to targets and KPIs in a fast-paced environment
• Highly organised with the ability to manage and prioritise a sales pipeline
• Competent using CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to learn and adapt to new systems (e.g. EPIC or similar broking platforms)
• Understanding of insurance products or financial services (desirable)
• Cert CII (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
