Description
This position is ideal for an experienced dispensing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident working with digital pharmacy platforms. You’ll ensure the timely and accurate dispensing of prescriptions, support clinical operations, and play a vital role in maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
*Accurately dispense prescriptions within daily deadlines
*Manage prescription labelling and support high-volume workflows
*Support the clinical team with daily operational activities
*Work to internal accuracy, quality and performance targets
*Maintain compliance with legal, professional and company standards
*Collaborate effectively with Customer Service, Purchasing, Operations and Pharmacists
*Contribute to a positive, supportive and team-centred working environment


Hours: Mon-Fri 09:00-18:30 + alternate Saturdays 09:00-18:30
Profile
*A qualified NVQ Level 2 Dispensing Assistant with experience in high-volume pharmacy environments, including care-home pharmacy settings.
*Skilled in ProScript, YourMeds, FlowRx, and major e-MAR platforms (cycle setup, data entry and medication-round workflows).
*Strong IT proficiency including intermediate Excel, with excellent written and verbal communication.
*Demonstrates high levels of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
*Familiar with digital ordering, e-MAR processes and pharmacy automation systems.
*A supportive team player with a positive, professional attitude, eager to learn and contribute, and committed to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care.
*Experience working in a care-home pharmacy environment
