Are you an ambitious Head Chef ready to lead a vibrant kitchen and make your mark? Our client, a highly regarded gastro pub on the outskirts of Southwold, is seeking a passionate and creative leader to join their award-winning team. With a 100-cover restaurant and outside seating for 50, the pub prides itself on producing everything in-house using the freshest local ingredients.
What You’ll Do
*Take full ownership of the kitchen and menu development
*Lead, mentor, and inspire a small, dedicated brigade
*Oversee food preparation, stock control, and cost management
*Ensure high standards of hygiene, health & safety, and presentation
*Drive innovation with seasonal menus and daily specials
Who We’re Looking For
*Minimum 2 years’ Head Chef experience in a fresh-food environment
*Passion for quality, locally sourced produce and innovative cooking
*Strong leadership and organisational skills
*Ambitious, motivated, and ready to raise standards and drive growth
