This role offers the chance to take ownership of SEO performance for a major ecommerce retail site, driving meaningful commercial impact. You will work in a fast-paced digital environment where SEO is valued, well-resourced and central to wider growth plans.
The Company
We are a large multi brand retail organisation operating across sports, fashion and lifestyle. Our digital function plays an essential role in delivering growth and supporting high volume ecommerce performance. SEO is a respected, data driven capability with strong relationships across trading and commercial teams. You will join a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, curiosity and continuous improvement.
The Role
*Lead and optimise SEO performance for a high traffic ecommerce site.
*Shape and deliver a full SEO strategy across technical, content and onsite optimisation.
*Conduct keyword research and identify performance opportunities.
*Manage site health including crawling, indexing and technical diagnostics.
*Work with trading, content and commercial teams to align SEO with business priorities.
*Collaborate with agency partners to deliver roadmap initiatives.
*Report on KPIs and share insight with stakeholders.
*Support junior team members in the premium focused position.
Your Skills and Experience
*Strong commercial experience across technical and content SEO.
*Confidence taking ownership of SEO performance for a large-scale site.
*Comfortable operating with autonomy and adapting quickly to change.
*Skilled in stakeholder engagement across multiple teams.
*Proficient with Screaming Frog, Google Search Console and GA4.
*Analytical mindset with the ability to prioritise effectively.
*A proactive approach and genuine interest in driving SEO growth.
