Senior Financial Accountant – High-Growth, PE-Backed Hospitality Business
Equifind is working with a rapidly scaling, private equity-backed hospitality business seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join its growing finance team. The business operates a multi-site model and is undergoing significant expansion.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role will play a key part in strengthening financial controls, improving processes, and supporting the business through its next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead intercompany reconciliations and group consolidations
*Support statutory reporting and act as a key contact during audits
*Deliver month-end close with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
*Drive process improvements and internal controls enhancement
*Support real estate accounting and valuation processes
*Contribute to finance projects, including system improvements and new site integration
*Oversee VAT compliance and liaise with external advisors
Candidate Profile
*Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
*Strong technical accounting background (consolidations, statutory reporting, VAT)
*Experience working with auditors and delivering month-end processes
*Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
Desirable:
*Experience in multi-site, hospitality, leisure, or real estate environments
*Exposure to PE-backed or high-growth businesses
*Involvement in systems implementation or process transformation
