Paraplanner
East End Glasgow, hybrid working
£40,000 to £50,000
An established and genuinely independent financial planning firm is looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to support its advisory team, and contribute to the delivery of high quality, client focused advice.
This is an opportunity for those who want to make a real impact where paraplanning is valued and properly integrated into the advice process.
This role would suit you if you’re a Paraplanner who enjoys suitability reports, detailed research and working closely with advisers.
You’ll join a supportive and sociable office where development is taken seriously, exams are fully funded and there is genuine scope to progress into an advisory role if desired.
Flexible working is available within core office hours, giving you the option to structure your day in a way that suits you.
What you’ll be doing
*Preparing detailed financial reports and suitability documentation
*Carrying out research across investments, pensions and wider financial planning strategies
*Supporting advisers in the design and delivery of tailored financial plans
*Producing cashflow models to support retirement and long-term planning
*Maintaining accurate and up to date client records on the back-office system
*Liaising with clients to gather information and respond to queries in a professional manner
What you’ll need
*Previous experience in a Paraplanner role within financial planning or wealth management
*Suitability report writing skills and solid technical understanding
*Experience using Intelligent Office, or similar systems, would be beneficial
