About the Business
This organisation is a major international manufacturer of toys, arts & crafts, and creative consumer products, with more than a century of combined heritage. The company is currently undergoing rapid growth, expanding its manufacturing footprint, product lines, and operational systems globally.
The Manchester office plays a central role in supporting global retail and distribution partners, and is entering an important phase of development: new systems, new team members, and increasing operational demands.

The Role
We are seeking a Senior Account Coordinator who can operate with considerable autonomy, take ownership of complex workflows, and provide guidance and structure for the junior team member.
This individual must be exceptionally reliable, calm under pressure, and capable of being trusted to open and run the office independently when needed. The role includes supporting international communication with US teams and distributors, managing product workflows, and handling business-critical reporting.
There will be occasional international travel opportunities to major global trade exhibitions.

Key Responsibilities
*Act as lead point of contact for global partners, ensuring all operational tasks are completed on time.
*Manage high-volume email correspondence and prioritise tasks across multiple markets.
*Provide accurate reporting and insights to senior leadership across international offices.
*Oversee and support the Junior Account Coordinator, helping them develop capability.
*Maintain structure, reliability, and continuity while the owner is travelling internationally.
*Support coordination of product shipments, stock updates, and customer communication.
*Engage with new systems such as Monday.com and upcoming workflow improvements.
*Assist with product launch cycles, Amazon channel tasks, and marketing-related workflows.
*Ensure the office environment runs smoothly and reflects a high-performance culture.

Required Skills & Experience
*Minimum 3 years’ experience in an administrative, coordination, or customer service role.
*Strong academic background, including high attainment in English and Maths.
*Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-step tasks independently.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
*Experience producing clear and accurate management-level reporting.

Preferred Skills
*Experience in consumer goods, retail distribution, or product-based operations.
*Knowledge of shipping, logistics, or supply-chain terminology.
*Experience working with workflow systems.
*Additional languages.

Personal Qualities
*Highly dependable, mature, and self-disciplined.
*"Gets on with it" without requiring supervision.
*Comfortable being the steady foundation of a small but high-output team.
*Able to handle busy seasonal peaks as well as quieter strategic periods.
*Adaptable, solution-focused, and committed to professional excellence.
