Director of Data

We are hiring a Director of Data for a PE-backed, global rewards and marketing analytics business operating at scale with major international clients.
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on maximising the value of an established data and analytics platform, not defining strategy from scratch.
The RoleYou will lead a small data and analytics function, driving execution of an existing roadmap and helping the business extract greater commercial value from its data products.
Key focus areas:
*Turning data into commercial insight and client value

*Driving adoption of analytics and data products

*Supporting development of predictive and advanced analytics capability

*Improving data literacy and stakeholder engagement

*Working closely with product, engineering, and commercial teams

*SQL

*Python

*Mixpanel

*BI / visualisation tools (in transition)

What We’re Looking For*Strong background in analytics / BI / advanced analytics

*Hands-on with data (SQL and ideally Python)

*Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

*Experience working in fast-paced, delivery-focused environments

*Comfortable operating in a small, hands-on leadership structure

Nice to Have*Loyalty, rewards, marketing analytics or consultancy experience

*Exposure to AI or predictive analytics

*Experience in global or multi-market organisations

ImportantThis is not a large team leadership role - it requires someone who is hands-on, commercially minded, and able to influence without building a large function.
