Legal Counsel – Renewable Energy
Location: London (Hybrid Working)
Experience: 2–8 Years PQE (Guideline)

The Role
As Legal Counsel, you will work closely with the business to provide practical, solutions-focused legal support across a range of commercial and project matters within the renewable energy space.
You will be responsible for:*Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of commercial and project contracts, including EPC agreements, PPAs, and O&M contracts
*Supporting renewable energy projects from development through to operation
*Providing clear, pragmatic legal advice to internal stakeholders across the business
*Identifying and managing legal risk while enabling commercial objectives
*Working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
*Supporting the wider legal function as the business continues to scale
About You*A qualified solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent) with 2–8 years’ experience in legal roles (in-house or private practice)
*Strong background in the renewable energy sector, ideally with exposure to BESS and/or wind projects
*Experience working with EPC contracts, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) agreements
*Commercially minded with the ability to balance legal risk and business priorities
*Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
