Job Description:
Reed have partnered with a national Law Firm, recruiting for a Junior Secretary with beautiful offices based in Bristol City Centre.
You will be part of a team supporting fee earners and partners.
Working Pattern: Hybrid
Location: Bristol City Centre
As a Junior Secretary, you will provide vital administrative and organisational support to a team of fee earners and partners. This position is ideal for someone looking to develop their career within a fast-paced, professional environment where accuracy, communication and efficiency are key.
Your responsibilities will include a mixture of document production, diary management, file coordination and general secretarial work. You’ll play an important role in helping the team deliver a smooth, high-quality service to clients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
*Preparing, formatting and amending business and legal documents
*Managing diaries, scheduling meetings and coordinating travel
*Monitoring inboxes and handling internal and external communications
*Opening, closing and maintaining client files in line with compliance standards
*Supporting billing processes and financial administration tasks
*Providing general office administration including scanning, printing and filing
*Working closely with other secretaries and support staff to ensure efficient workflow
About You
We are looking for someone with a strong administrative foundation and a professional approach. You may have:
*Administrative experience within a law firm,
*Secretarial experience in another professional services setting, or
*A similar corporate support background where organisation, confidentiality and attention to detail are essential.
Additionally, you will bring:
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Good IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office
*Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
*A proactive, adaptable attitude and eagerness to learn
