Resourcery Group is supporting an organisation based in Liverpool that is going through a major period of change. As part of this, we’re supporting the recruitment of 3 Heads of Finance Transformation, each focused on a key area of the finance function for the duration of 18 months.This is a hands-on role where you’ll help shape and deliver a new finance system implementation, driving improvements across processes, reporting, and controls.
This is a key hire — commitment to the full 18-month contract is essential.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Lead the rollout of a new finance system in your area
*Work closely with finance, IT, and external partners to get things delivered
*Map out and improve finance processes and controls
*Take ownership of data migration — cleanse, validate, and ensure accuracy
*Get involved in testing (UAT), fixing issues, and making sure everything works properly
*Build and improve reporting to give better insight to stakeholders
*Support and guide users through the change (training, comms, adoption)
*Keep things moving — track progress, manage risks, and solve problems quickly
About You
*Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
*Strong track record delivering large-scale finance system implementations
*Comfortable working in complex organisations with multiple stakeholders
*Strong understanding of finance processes, controls, and data
*Confident communicator who can influence and challenge when needed
*Hands-on, proactive, and able to deliver in a fast-moving environment
