Residential Support Worker (Children’s Home)
Location: Liverpool
Pay: £13–£14 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our team in a children’s home based in Liverpool. You will be supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs, helping them build independence, resilience, and brighter futures.
What We’re Looking For:
NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People / Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Experience working with children or young people in a residential, education, SEN, or support setting
Ability to work a rota including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
Warm, patient, and professional approach to supporting vulnerable young people
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide day-to-day care, guidance, and emotional support
*Help young people develop life skills and maintain routines
*Work as part of a supportive and motivated team
*Maintain accurate records and care plans
*Ensure the home is a safe, nurturing environment where young people can thrive
