We are looking for a proactive and detail driven Commercial Administrator who can keep our payment and purchasing processes running smoothly and help us continue to raise the bar on performance.

About The RoleAs our Commercial Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring our commercial processes operate seamlessly and efficiently. You will act as the central point of contact for purchasing and payments, supporting the team with essential administrative and commercial coordination. You will manage payment progress for the team, ensure accuracy, prevent delays and flag any concerns early so action can be taken quickly and effectively.
You will also support the wider Commercial Operations team with reporting, supplier queries, onboarding and continuous improvement. Your ability to stay organised, prioritise well and stay on top of multiple tasks will be essential to succeeding in this fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities*Raise purchase orders and process payments on behalf of the team.
*Track payment progress to ensure all commercial payments move through the system smoothly.
*Investigate and resolve payment or invoice queries and escalate issues when appropriate.
*Act as the main point of contact for supplier queries.
*Maintain accurate data across the end to end payment process.
*Work with the Performance Manager to improve the payment cycle and drive a consistent high quality experience.
*Provide administrative support to the wider Commercial Operations team.
*Maintain structured and well organised filing systems.
*Support supplier and subcontractor onboarding.
*Create and present clear reports and insights using Excel and PowerPoint.
*Support audits by preparing and supplying required documentation.
Skills & Experience*Experience using SAP or equivalent systems
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
*Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
*Strong communication skills and comfortable engaging with stakeholders
*Ability to resolve issues independently while recognising when to escalate
