FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER – FACILITIES MANAGEMENT
Redhill – 3 DAYS OFFICE / 2 HOME – PERMANENT – GROWING BUSINESS WITH STRONG COMMERCIAL FOCUS
£50,000 – £60,000 + bonus
Are you a Finance Business Partner or commercially minded Management Accountant looking for more visibility? Do you enjoy working closely with operations and improving how finance supports decision-making?
We’re hiring for a Finance Business Partner to join a growing facilities management business in a broad, hands-on role. This position sits close to the operational side of the business, supporting a large portfolio of contracts with a mix of reporting, analysis, and process improvement. It’s a good fit for someone who enjoys working with detail but also wants to influence how finance adds value day to day.
WISH LIST
*Experience in management accounts, commercial finance or business partnering, ideally within a contract-led or multi-site environment
*Comfortable handling high-volume reporting, reconciliations, invoicing and budgeting
*A practical mindset with the confidence to improve processes and work closely with non-finance teams
THE ROLE
*Take ownership of client-facing financial reporting across multiple contracts and cost centres
*Prepare and review monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and clear commercial insight
*Manage balance sheet reconciliations across key areas including cash and client payment systems
*Support monthly performance reviews with operational teams, explaining results and variances
*Oversee invoicing processes, ensuring billing aligns with contract performance
*Identify opportunities to improve month-end timelines through better processes and automation
*Work closely with operations to understand contract performance and challenge unusual movements
*Support annual budgeting across contracts, including labour costs and commercial assumptions
*Prepare contract budgets and financial packs for client review
*Track changes in contract scope and ensure financial impact is reflected accurately
*Partner with internal teams on forecasting and reporting improvements
*Contribute to finance projects focused on systems, reporting and efficiency
YOUR PROFILE
*Open to Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), Part-Qualified (active studier), or QBE accountants
*Effective communicator – written & verbal
*Good working knowledge of MS Excel
*Comfortable working with large data sets, reporting packs and reconciliations in a hands-on role
*Able to build strong relationships with operational teams and apply a practical, commercial approach
SALARY & BENEFITS
*£50,000 – £60,000 + bonus
*Hybrid working – 3 days in the Redhill office, 2 from home
*Permanent position
*25 days holiday + bank holidays
