JOB TITLE: Business Development Director, Mid Corporates
LOCATIONS: London
SALARY: Starting from £104,686
HOURS: Full-Time

What you’ll be doing
Do you have the passion and hunger to support new clients and at the same time help grow Lloyds Bank’s market share? If so, we have a great opportunity for a Business Development Director to join our team supporting clients in the Manufacturing, industrials, and wholesale (MIW) and professional services sectors, with turnover between £25m - £100m across London.
You’ll drive the growth and expansion of our business and identify new business opportunities, building, and maintaining relationships with key partners, and developing strategies to increase revenue and market share.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and will provide the opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping the future of our business and driving our strategic initiatives.
Your roles and responsibilities will include:
*Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including the planning and execution of contact strategies enabling you to win new to bank mandates.
*Understanding client strategies to provide the best possible solutions to support in a highly competitive marketplace.
*Building and maintaining relationships with partners, both inside and outside the company.
*Developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue and market share.
*Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
*Monitoring market trends and competitor activities.
*Negotiate pricing, terms, and structures that benefit all parties involved.

What we’re looking for
*5+ years of proven experience in business development or a similar role within corporate or commercial banking.
*Deep understanding of the manufacturing, industrials, and wholesale sector alongside professional services.
*Excellent credit and sector knowledge with the ability to quickly identify and understand complex problems and solutions to support.
*Demonstrated expertise in analytical and critical thinking.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
