JOB TITLE: Associate Director, Strategic Debt Finance - Permanent and FTC positions available
SALARY: Competitive package available
LOCATION: London
HOURS: Full-time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least three days per week, or 60% of our time, at our office site.
There is a permanent and 6 months secondment/FTC position available. You can select your preference when submitting your application.
Summary
The successful candidate will be integral part of the Large Cap leverage finance team supporting origination, assessing and executing structured debt for private equity owned and sub-investment grade corporate clients in all end market segments.
What you’ll be doing:
*Origination of leveraged debt transactions for private equity owned clients and sub-investment grade corporate clients
*Transaction focus on syndicated loan products and HY bond products
*Excellence in execution of deals ensuring alignment with internal partners, contributing to the business plan, ensure products are appropriately priced and that activity is aligned to the goals and values of the Group
*Research future opportunities, analysing complex data to support client interaction and product offering
*Establish and support senior team members relationships with sponsors and advisors in order to enhance the Bank’s reputation and propose procurement of new business
*Maintain and build relationships with internal stakeholders
*Prepare credit/investment committee applications, modelling, internal reports and marketing material
*Manage the documentation and due diligence process for transactions
*Always to undertake the duties of this role in accordance with the requirements of the company’s Regulators, including FCA’s Principles for Business

What you’ll need:
*Knowledge of the leverage finance sector, ideally 4+ years of experience
*Evidence of relevant execution experience across leveraged deals
*Ability to establish relationships with clients and advisors in order to originate new business
*Demonstrable high levels of attention to detail, numeracy and communicate effectively
*Familiarity and ability to deal with complex financial models (strong Excel skills are required)
*Report and presentation writing skills with strong written and verbal communication skills
*Strong knowledge of the regulatory and compliance requirements
