We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business. Operating within a robust and secure industry, this organisation is experiencing sustained growth and investment, making it an excellent time to join the team.
This is a hands-on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role suited to an engineer who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, supporting production through both reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production machinery and site equipment. You will be responsible for:
*Responding to breakdowns in a timely manner to minimise downtime
*Carrying out both electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs
*Completing planned preventative maintenance in line with schedules
*Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
*Working collaboratively with production teams to optimise performance
*Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
We are looking for a proactive and adaptable engineer with a strong multi-skilled background. The ideal candidate will have:
*A balance of electrical and mechanical experience
*Proven experience within a manufacturing or production environment
*Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
*The ability to work effectively under pressure in reactive situations
*A positive attitude and willingness to support team objectives
Qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Engineering (or equivalent) are desirable.
