The Group Corporate Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing all corporate tax matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and optimising tax strategies. *Manage and oversee all aspects of corporate tax compliance and reporting across the group.
*Develop and implement tax strategies to optimise the organisation’s tax position.
*Provide expert advice on corporate tax matters to internal stakeholders.
*Ensure compliance with UK and international tax regulations.
*Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organisation.
*Collaborate with external advisors to manage audits and tax-related queries.
*Prepare and review tax computations and returns for submission to authorities.
*Support the business with tax planning for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic projects.
Profile
A successful Group Corporate Tax Manager should have:
*ACA / ACCA Preferred - Or CTA
*Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax and international tax principles.
*Experience in managing corporate tax compliance and reporting processes.
*Proficiency in identifying and implementing tax planning opportunities.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Ability to communicate complex tax matters clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
*Experience working within the life science industry is advantageous but not essential.
