The Accounts Manager will oversee a diverse SME client portfolio, delivering high quality accounting, tax, and advisory services. You’ll build strong client relationships, oversee junior team members, and assist the Directors with advisory and business planning projects.

Description
*Manage a diverse client portfolio, acting as the main contact and ensuring consistent high quality service delivery
*Prepare and review statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, VAT returns, and management accounts
*Provide proactive advisory support including tax planning, cashflow forecasting, KPI analysis and process improvement recommendations
*Support junior team members; reviewing work, mentoring and providing technical guidance
*Support Directors with advisory and business planning assignments
Profile
A successful Accounts Manager should have:
*A chartered accountancy qualification, ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
*Experience independently managing a client portfolio within accountancy practice
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Strong knowledge of current accounting standards and regulations
