Interim Senior Accountant*Day Rate £350–£400 per day inside IR35
*5 Days a week onsite
*Based in Guildford
A fast-paced, project-led business is seeking an experienced Interim Senior Accountant to take ownership of the finance function during a key period.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll work closely with senior leadership, bringing both technical expertise and commercial insight to support decision-making and drive performance.
The Role*Oversee all accounting activities across the business, ensuring accuracy and compliance
*Lead financial reporting, including year-end accounts, audit, and tax processes
*Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
*Partner with project teams to:
*Review commercial terms
*Ensure robust forecasting across projects
*Monitor budgets and control spend

*Manage cash flow, including forecasting, payments, and payroll oversight
*Oversee tax credit / incentive claims
What We’re Looking For*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
*Strong technical accounting background with a commercial mindset
*Confident stakeholder manager, comfortable operating at senior level
*Proven ability to work in a hands-on, fast-moving environment
*Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines
*Knowledge of tax credits or similar incentive schemes is advantageous
