Project Manager – DV / SC Cleared Hybrid | 9-Day Fortnight | Task-Based Contract | Reading

Active DV or SC (DC) clearance required

Day Rate / Hourly rate is flexible (DOE)

The Role We are seeking a security-cleared Project Manager to support the concept and initiation phases of complex Government projects.

You’ll work at the earliest stage of the lifecycle — shaping ambiguous problems into structured proposals, developing business cases, and guiding projects through Portfolio Entry and early governance controls.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys strategic thinking, investigative problem-solving, and bringing clarity to high-impact initiatives.

Key Responsibilities*Lead pre-concept investigations and define scope, schedule and cost parameters
*Develop business cases and initiation documentation
*Support Portfolio Entry and early lifecycle governance
*Ensure structured handover into delivery teams
Experience Required Essential

*Active DV or SC clearance
*Experience delivering projects in the Concept phase
*Background within Government environments
*Strong business case development experience
Desirable

*APM, PMI or similar accreditation
*Portfolio Management exposure
Hybrid working (minimum 1 day per week on site).
9-Day Fortnight working pattern.
