I’m working with a large, fast-growing international organisation who are looking to appoint a Senior Accountant to join their expanding finance team. This position sits within a specialist finance function supporting the organisation’s international operations, particularly across North America. The role offers exposure to a dynamic, evolving environment where you will work closely with senior stakeholders and play a key role in supporting new market launches and strengthening financial reporting frameworks.
Description
As a Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of key financial reporting and compliance processes across a number of international territories, ensuring financial obligations are managed accurately and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
*Overseeing financial reporting requirements across assigned international territories
*Supporting the financial setup and reporting frameworks for newly launched markets
*Preparing and reviewing complex reconciliations and analysing large datasets
*Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure reporting accuracy
*Coordinating external reviews and audits where required
*Developing and strengthening internal controls and reporting processes
*Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, and efficiencies
*Supporting and mentoring junior team members within the wider team


Profile
*The ideal candidate must be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
*This role would suit a 1st time mover with a super inquisitive personality or someone qualified in industry who has experience working with complex reconciliations and large volumes of financial data
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
*Confident communicator with the ability to work with senior stakeholders
*Experience of working in a heavily regulated environment would be advantageous
Job Offer
*A competitive salary ranging from £48,000 to £51,000 per annum.
*Annual bonus up to 10%
*Pension contribution matched at 7.5%
*Hybrid working with 3 days in office, 2 at home
