Geography Teacher
Location: Prendergast Vale School, Lewisham
Contract: Full-time
Duration: Easter 2026 – End of the Academic Year
Pay to scale (aligned with teacher union guidance)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join Prendergast Vale School on a full-time basis from Easter 2026 until the end of the academic year. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and inclusive secondary school within the Leathersellers’ Federation of Schools, committed to delivering high-quality education and strong student outcomes.
The successful candidate will be passionate about Geography, able to inspire students across Key Stages 3 to 5, and committed to delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that develop students’ understanding of the world around them.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3- KS5
*Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
*Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) needed
*Experience teaching Geography at secondary level under the UK curriculum
*Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
