Desian Education are happy to announce that we have partnered with a two-form entry primary school in Winsford. This is an extremely supportive and welcoming school with an experienced and hands-on senior leadership team that require an experienced and reliable teaching assistant to join the UKS2 (upper Key Stage 2) team on a full-time temporary basis after the Easter break.
Your new role
As a teaching assistant within this school you will be supporting across the Year 6 class, working collaboratively with class teachers to promote the engagement and learning of all pupils. You will build strong constructive relationships with colleagues and pupils alike to promote the attainment and behaviours of pupils. You will lead on interventions by tracking pupil subject shortfalls and individually planning and delivering targeted interventions in required areas as well as supporting with SATs preparation.
What you’ll need to succeed
*Full "Right to Work" in the UK
*An NVQ Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualification is advantageous but not essential
*Expert knowledge of the KS2 national curriculum
*Relevant referenceable classroom experience
*Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Children’s DBS check
