Job Description:
Financial Controller | Keighley | Up to £80,000 + benefits
4-day week (Mon-Thurs)
This role exists because the business needs a proper number two in finance, someone who can run the UK function day to day, keep things tight, and work closely with operations without layers in the way.
It’s a lean manufacturing environment. You’ll be visible, hands-on, and involved in how the business actually runs, not sat behind process.
What you’ll be doing
*Owning monthly management accounts and year-end statutory reporting
*Overseeing governance, compliance, payroll and pensions
*Managing intercompany activity with the European parent
*Acting as finance lead for the UK site
*Supporting and challenging operational teams with useful, grounded insight
*Line managing two staff
Around 70% of the role is core finance, with some company secretarial responsibility alongside it.
What they’re looking for
*Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
*Comfortable in a hands-on, site-based role
*Confident dealing with senior stakeholders, including group in Europe
*Manufacturing experience helpful, but not essential
*Able to hold your ground and explain things clearly when needed

*4-day working week (38 hours, Monday to Thursday)
