Service Manager – Extra Care Unit
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable care organisation for an experienced Service Manager to oversee and lead high-quality, person-centred services in the Bolton area.

Key Responsibilities*Lead and manage day-to-day service delivery, ensuring high standards of care
*Deliver outcome-focused, person-centred support in line with best practice
*Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and local authority requirements
*Manage, support, and develop staff through supervision, appraisal, and training
*Oversee audits, quality assurance, and continuous improvement processes
*Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders
*Support individuals to access community opportunities and develop independence
*Handle employee relations matters including absence, performance, and investigations
*Participate in on-call duties as required
Requirements*Previous experience in a Service Manager or similar leadership role within health & social care
*Strong knowledge of CQC standards and relevant legislation
*Understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and safeguarding practices
*Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
*Excellent organisational and communication skills
*Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
