Electro-Mechanical Engineer
12 month contract

Qualifications & Experience
*HNC or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
*Proven experience commissioning low-voltage equipment in a regulated or high-tech industry
*Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset
*Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
Responsibilities
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the successful commissioning of advanced bioprocessing equipment. Your duties will include:
*Testing electrical, electronic, and mechanical components of sub-assemblies and products
*Performing electrical safety tests and completing online documentation
*Checking calibrated equipment and maintaining accurate records
*Following work instructions and acceptance test documents to meet timelines
*Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure quality and efficiency
Skills / Technical Competencies
*Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings
*Knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly processes
*Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles (advantageous)
*Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Nice to Haves
*Experience in a precision assembly environment
*Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies
*Willingness to travel occasionally for work
