Job Description:
Multi-Skilled Engineer Poole We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing company in Poole. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the efficiency and reliability of production equipment.
Role Details:*Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer
*Location: Poole
*Salary: £51,800 per annum
*Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
*Shift Pattern: Panama shift 12 hour days and nights
*Department: Engineering
Key Responsibilities:*Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
*Ensure all engineering work meets safety, health, and environmental standards.
*Support production teams with technical expertise to maintain efficient operations.
*Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS system.
*Work with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
*Follow engineering drawings and update documentation when necessary.
*Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with company procedures.
Requirements:*Recognised qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Level 3).
*Experience working in a maintenance/engineering role within a manufacturing setting.
*Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
*Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
*Good understanding of production processes and manufacturing equipment.
Desirable Skills:*PLC knowledge (Siemens S7, Mitsubishi).
*Experience with inverters, robotics, and safety regulations
