Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant - The Role
As a Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting pupils with additional needs within the classroom, providing both 1:1 and small group support. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored interventions and ensure pupils are able to access learning effectively.
The role may involve supporting behaviour, assisting with phonics and early literacy, and using strategies such as visual aids or structured routines to support engagement. You will play a key role in maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, patient, and confident supporting children with a range of SEN needs.
