School Site Manager - Maidstone
Hours: Monday to Friday
Pay: £14+ per hour

Academics are currently recruiting for a full-time School Site Manager to join a friendly and well-established school in Maidstone. This is a hands-on role with leadership responsibility, ideal for someone with experience in caretaking, facilities, or site management.
Key Responsibilities:*Oversee the opening, closing, and security of the school premises
*Manage day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of the site
*Carry out regular health and safety checks to ensure compliance
*Supervise contractors, cleaning staff, and site team members
*Set up rooms and facilities for school activities, events, and lettings
*Ensure the school grounds are safe, clean, and well maintained
*Respond to site-related issues promptly and effectively
*Maintain site procedures and support operational improvements
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:*Previous experience in a site manager, caretaker, or facilities role
*Strong organisational and leadership skills
*A proactive and practical approach to problem-solving
*Good knowledge of health and safety regulations
*Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
*An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
