Hays Education are working in partnership with a secondary school to recruit a Music Teacher for the remainder of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.
This school’s Music Department has a long-standing record of excellent results, driven by a dedicated team committed to continually developing and sharing best practice both within the school and across the Trust.
The department is exceptionally well resourced, with a strong extracurricular programme and a team of specialist instrumental staff who support and inspire our talented young musicians. We are also proud to be the lead centre for Lancashire Music Service’s programme of delivery, reflecting our strong partnership and commitment to high-quality music education.
Your new role
Teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, providing well-structured lessons that engage and challenge learners of all abilities.
As a Music Teacher, you will bring passion, creativity, and a commitment to inspiring a love of music in young people. You will be able to deliver engaging lessons across key stages, adapting your teaching to meet the needs of all learners and ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed.You will contribute positively to a thriving Music Department by bringing:
*Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach a broad music curriculum, including practical, theoretical, and performance elements.
*A creative and enthusiastic approach to engaging students of all abilities and fostering their musical talent and confidence.
What you’ll need to succeed
*Qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS desirable; ECTs encouraged to apply)
*Confident teaching Music at KS3 and KS4
*Organised and committed to safeguarding student progress
*Able to join a collaborative team and make an immediate, positive impact
