About the RoleWe’re a growing construction and office fit-out business delivering exciting refurbishment and office build projects across Dorset.
We’re looking for a Junior CAD & Project Coordinator with hands-on CAD experience who wants to grow a career in construction, interior fit-out, and project management.
This is a hands-on, varied role where you’ll gain exposure to projects from concept to completion, while learning essential skills in estimating, project coordination, and on-site management.
Key Responsibilities*Produce CAD drawings for office refurbishments and builds
*Assist with cost estimates and quotations
*Support project planning and on-site coordination
*Conduct site surveys and take accurate measurements/photos
*Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and clients
*Help manage project schedules and budgets under the Director’s guidance
*Ensure Health & Safety standards are followed at all times
Skills & ExperienceEssential:
*Some practical CAD experience (AutoCAD or similar)
*Exposure to construction, architecture, or fit-out projects is a plus
*Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
*Highly organised, detail-focused, and proactive
*Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with clients and contractors
*Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Desirable but not essential:
*Experience in interior fit-out or refurbishment
*Basic understanding of UK building regulations
*Experience with cost estimating or site surveys
