Social Media Analyst - Contract
Agency - FMCG Clients
£250-£345 per day - Inside IR35
London - 3 days per week in office
This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly built social function within a leading creative agency environment. You will play a key role in shaping how major consumer brands show up on social, bringing clarity to performance data and helping teams create culturally relevant work.
The Company

Following recent integrations across their network, they have built a dedicated social unit that blends creative talent with data expertise. With a growing roster of high-profile consumer brands, they are investing heavily in social excellence and analytics. This project sits at the heart of that growth.
The Role and Deliverables
*Deliver day to day social measurement and reporting across key consumer accounts.
*Analyse performance data from native platforms and client-specific tools, providing clear insights and actionable recommendations.
*Build and maintain tagging taxonomies to support accurate categorisation and analysis.
*Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting rhythms, including content performance reviews and strategic insight for forward planning.
*Support campaign analysis and client presentations with clear, narrative-driven output.
*Stay closely attuned to UK social and internet culture, helping to ground insights in real audience behaviour.
Your Skills and Experience
*Strong experience analysing social performance data across platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.
*Confident working with tools such as Sprout, Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Talkwalker or similar.
*Comfortable exporting and working with data, plus able to turn numbers into clear stories and recommendations.
*Experience building or working with tagging taxonomies.
*A solid understanding of UK social culture and trends, particularly among younger demographics.
*Able to operate in a fast paced environment, balancing regular reporting cycles with campaign needs.
