The role:
*The sales support specialist will be responsible for taking, confirming, and accurately entering customer sales and purchase orders, acting as a key point of contact for customer queries and ensuring timely, professional communication.
*You will support purchasing activities across assigned product categories, liaising with global procurement teams and monitoring stock levels to ensure sufficient inventory for key accounts.
* As sales support specialist you will prepare and issue quotations, assist with tenders and contract renewals, and support lead qualification and follow-ups on opportunities, quotes, and sample requests.
*The Sales support specialist will be responsible for coordinating with sales, purchasing, logistics, quality, and finance teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment, proactive shipment monitoring, and clear communication of any delays or issues.
*You will manage product sample requests, including arranging shipments, handling office samples, and working with warehouse teams.
*You will provide customers with required quality documentation and liaise with the Quality team where needed.
*You will maintain accurate CRM records, support Finance with new customer set-ups and credit limit updates, and produce reports for senior management.
*The Sales support specialist will also provide general administrative support, including occasional travel arrangements.


Ideal candidate:
*The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, and French. (Any other European languages are beneficial)
*You will have at least two years’ experience in procurement or commercial support within a fast-paced supply-chain environment.
*You will bring strong analytical skills, with confidence interpreting pricing data and supplier quotations.
*Excellent communication and customer-facing skills are essential, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
*You will be highly proficient in Excel, with experience in Power BI or similar tools considered beneficial.
Please note there is also a fixed term contract position available (French speaking not mandatory) on an 18-month contract. Candidates who don’t speak French but are fluent in another European language are encouraged to apply and will be considered for the contract position.
