BSL Teaching Assistant
Peterborough (Cambridgeshire) Long-term fixed term contract, £95-£120 per day (Weekly PAYE)
A friendly and inclusive primary school in Peterborough, rated good Ofsted is looking to appoint a BSL teaching assistant to support pupils across the school
This is a fantasise opportunity to make a real difference, working with children form EYFS though to Key stage 2. The role will involve 1:1 support as well as working with small groups, helping pupils’ acers the curriculum and build confident in their learning. To start after effect half term April 2026
Key Responsibilities
*Support pupils using British Sign Language
*Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
*Provide targeted 1:1 and small groups support
*Encourage pupils’ participation and independence
What we are looking for
*BSl skills (Qualifications or experience preferred)
*A caring, patient and proactive approach
*A Genuine passion for supporting children
*Strong teamwork and communication skills
