The client is looking to recruit a Payroll Administrator to join their Client Payroll Team. This is a pivotal role responsible for the accurate and timely processing of multiple payrolls on behalf of a wide-ranging client base, including SMEs, sole traders, and larger corporate entities across diverse and creative industries.


You’ll be joining a forward-thinking firm with a progressive attitude toward employee growth, system improvement, and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
*Manage the end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients with varying payroll frequencies (weekly, fortnightly, and monthly)
*Ensure accurate calculation of statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP), tax, National Insurance, and pension contributions.
*Maintain up-to-date payroll records and ensure compliance with UK legislation.
*Communicate directly with clients to resolve queries, request data, and provide updates - acting as a trusted advisor.
*Process new starters, leavers, changes, and ensure RTI submissions are filed accurately and on time.
*Assist with year-end processes, including P60s, P11Ds, and reconciliation tasks.
*Collaborate with other departments internally to deliver a seamless client experience.
*Keep up to date with changes in payroll legislation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.


What We’re Looking For:
*Previous experience working in a client payroll environment (preferred but not essential - in-house payroll backgrounds also considered).
*A genuine interest in building long-term client relationships and delivering a high standard of service.
*Solid knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC reporting requirements
*Experience using payroll software (e.g., Sage, BrightPay, IRIS, or similar).
*Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
*Excellent communication and time management abilities.
*A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
