About the RoleWe are seeking a highly organised and motivated Conveyancing Assistant to join our busy property team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in residential property law to support fee earners in managing a varied caseload from instruction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities*Assisting fee earners with all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions
*Opening and closing client files, including AML and compliance checks
*Preparing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence
*Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and third parties
*Managing diaries, scheduling appointments, and handling enquiries
*Ordering searches and managing post-completion matters
*Maintaining accurate records and updating case management systems
Requirements*Previous experience in a conveyancing or legal assistant role preferred
*Strong administrative and organisational skills
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
*A proactive and professional approach
