JOB TITLE - Primary Teacher (Day-to-Day Supply)ABOUT THE SCHOOLProspero Teaching is looking for flexible and confident Primary Teachers to work on a day-to-day supply basis across a range of welcoming and diverse Primary Schools in Barking and Dagenham. These schools are known for their inclusive ethos, supportive leadership teams, and commitment to high-quality teaching and learning. Supply teachers are valued members of the community, and you’ll be stepping into environments that prioritise pupil wellbeing, positive behaviour, and collaborative practice. This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety, want to broaden their experience, or prefer the flexibility of choosing when they work.


CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS*Location: Barking and Dagenham

*Type of work: Primary Teacher - Day-to-Day Supply

*Position: Class Teacher (EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on bookings)

*Start date: ASAP

*Duration: Day-to-day supply, with potential for ongoing or block bookings

*Contract type: Temporary, flexible supply

*Full time/part time: Flexible - work offered daily based on your availability

*Minimum rate of pay: From £170 per day (depending on experience and assignment)

*Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm (typical school day, depending on booking)



EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS*QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

*Experience teaching in UK Primary Schools (EYFS, KS1 or KS2)

*Up-to-date Safeguarding training (within the last year)

*Strong classroom management and adaptability



TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:*Hold Right to Work in the UK

*Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one

*Provide two professional references covering the last two years
