Job Description:
This established global business, is looking to strengthen its finance function by appointing an experienced, proactive, and personable Credit Control Team Leader to support a fast-paced and collaborative environment. In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end credit control process, leading a small team while ensuring effective management of customer accounts, driving cash collection, overseeing cash allocation, and resolving complex account queries.
You will be a confident and driven professional with a strong understanding of credit control processes and proven experience managing and developing a team. You will oversee a busy ledger, ensuring consistent cash collection performance and adherence to KPIs. Working closely with internal departments and external customers, you will manage escalated queries across a high-volume workload, ensuring timely resolution while maintaining excellent customer relationships. Skills required
*Previous experience in a Credit Control role, managing a customer ledger, chasing overdue payments, and resolving complex account queries.
*Experience with cash allocation, account reconciliations, and reporting on team performance.
*Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally.
*The ability to manage competing priorities, drive team performance, and consistently meet targets and deadlines.
