Job Description:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced NPD Manager to join their team. This role focuses on researching, developing, and coordinating the introduction of new products and upgrades. You will act as a central hub, ensuring efficient communication and processes across various departments, including Design, Supply, Quality Control (QC), and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities*Assist with research on new market opportunities, including competitor benchmarking and pricing for new product developments or upgrades.
*Oversee the development and design of new products, ensuring liaison across all relevant departments.
*Assist in specification and research of new products, existing product upgrades, and ingredients following market and consumer requirements.
*Support technical, production, and supply chain teams to ensure launch, forecasting, and go-to-market deadlines are met.
*Work with leading licence partners on range extension and product updates.
*Collaborate with design and supply teams on sustainability/environmental packaging projects.
*Control new product collateral, manage information, data sheets, and scientific product dossiers.
*Address specific product requirements for new ecommerce markets.
*Liaise with National Account, Marketing and Export Departments on launch, availability, and suitability of products.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience*Experience in project management or managing Product Development programmes.
*Extensive experience within Pharmaceutical or Vitamins, or Supplements is required!
*Proven ability to collate information from external suppliers and internal departments to ensure efficient company processes.
*Highly organised with close attention to detail.
*Graduated ideally in bioscience or a similar technical or scientific field.
