The Role
The firm is seeking a detail-oriented Conveyancing Paralegal to join its Birmingham office. The successful candidate will support fee earners in managing a busy caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
*Assisting with the management of residential conveyancing files, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
*Preparing contract packs and handling pre- and post-completion matters
*Conducting property searches and reviewing title documents
*Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors
*Drafting correspondence and legal documents
*Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case management records
*Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal procedures
Requirements
*A law degree (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification
*Previous experience in a conveyancing or property law role preferred
*Understanding of the conveyancing process and property transactions
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
*Excellent communication and client care skills
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
