The Role
The firm is seeking a qualified Solicitor to join its Birmingham office within the Residential Conveyancing team. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of matters from instruction through to completion, while contributing to the continued growth and success of the department.
Key Responsibilities
*Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
*Conducting title investigations and reporting clearly to clients
*Providing expert legal advice throughout the conveyancing process
*Handling matters from instruction through to post-completion
*Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
*Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and professional standards
*Supervising and supporting junior team members where appropriate
Requirements
*Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales (or equivalent)
*Proven experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently
*Strong technical knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures
*Excellent communication and client relationship skills
*Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Experience supervising junior staff is advantageous
