The Role
The firm is seeking either an experienced Conveyancer or a Fee-Earning Paralegal to join its Birmingham office. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of residential conveyancing matters, with appropriate supervision depending on experience, and will play a key role in delivering an efficient and client-focused service.
Key Responsibilities
*Managing a caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
*Conducting title checks and reporting to clients
*Preparing and reviewing legal documentation
*Handling files from instruction through to completion and post-completion
*Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors
*Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and internal procedures
*Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records using case management systems
Requirements
*Experience as a Conveyancer, Fee-Earning Paralegal, or similar role within property law
*Ability to manage a conveyancing caseload independently or with minimal supervision
*Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process
*Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
*Strong communication and client care abilities
*Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
