We are working with a well-regarded pensions organisation seeking a Pension Data Analyst to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with pensions administration and data experience to play a key role in improving data quality and supporting regulatory compliance.
In this role, you will be responsible for analysing, cleansing, and maintaining pension scheme data, ensuring it meets the requirements of both the Scheme and The Pensions Regulator. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve data issues, improve processes, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of member records.
Key Responsibilities:*Analyse, cleanse, and maintain pension scheme data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
*Identify and resolve data errors, inconsistencies, and gaps across large datasets
*Perform data quality assessments and produce regular reporting to monitor improvements
*Work collaboratively with internal teams and external parties to obtain and validate data
*Ensure data processes align with regulatory requirements, including The Pensions Regulator’s guidance
*Support bulk data updates and system uploads to maintain accurate member records
*Investigate data issues and develop practical solutions to improve data integrity
*Contribute to ongoing process improvements and data governance initiatives
Experience & Skills Required:*Experience in pensions administration (DB and/or DC)
*Strong data analysis skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues
*Experience working with large datasets and maintaining data quality
*Understanding of pensions legislation and regulatory requirements
*Strong Excel skills and ability to work with data efficiently
*High attention to detail and accuracy
*Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
*Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
