*Act as the key point of contact for payroll queries, supporting employees and stakeholders across the business
*Supervise and review junior team members’ work, providing guidance and oversight where needed
*Maintain and improve payroll and payment processes, controls, and system workflows
*Support audit requirements and year-end processes related to payroll and payments
*Assist with reporting and analysis relating to payroll costs, cash flow, and payment activity

What our client needs to see (essential):
*Experience managing end-to-end payroll processes with an international business of 300+ headcount
*Strong understanding of payroll legislation, compliance, and best practice
*Confident communicator able to partner effectively with HR and non-finance stakeholders
*Ability to work independently while maintaining high levels of accuracy and control
*Strong Excel skills and experience with payroll systems

What we’d like to see (non-essential):
*Qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience (QBE)
