Southampton - 12-Month FTC - Hybrid

VIQU has partnered with a leading financial services organisation to find a motivated PMO Specialist to support their busy Change function. This 12-month opportunity involves driving project governance, ensuring adherence to change management standards, and providing actionable insights to senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a confident team player with financial services experience who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities of the PMO Specialist:
*Contribute to and maintain Change Management governance, processes, tools, and methodologies.
*Assist Project Managers in following frameworks and best practices, escalating issues as required.
*Support deployment of the Change Management Framework and provide guidance to stakeholders.
*Monitor programme and project progress, budgets, risks, and compliance.
*Track and report on governance, financial trends, and post-project review actions.
*Administer project management tools, ensuring accuracy, optimising functionality, and promoting best practice.
*Foster a culture of progress and adaptability across the Change community.
*Build strong relationships with project teams and senior stakeholders, maintaining positivity under pressure.
Key Requirements of the PMO Specialist:
*Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Project Management Office or as a project professional within Financial Services, Wealth, or Asset Management.
*Strong experience supporting Change Management or PMO functions.
*Confident working independently in fast-paced environments.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
*Intermediate Excel skills required; Power BI skills preferred.
*Comfortable leveraging AI tools where appropriate.
*Collaborative, proactive, and results-oriented approach.
